The Two-Day Southeast Regional Organizational System Strengthening Workshop for grantees was held on 17th–18th November, 2026 at Vertex View Hotel and Suites, Nibo, Awka, Anambra State. The workshop brought together project grantees from the Southeast region to strengthen their organizational systems and improve grant implementation. The sessions focused on financial management, reporting requirements, compliance, project planning, monitoring and evaluation, and accountability. Participants also engaged in discussions and practical exercises designed to enhance capacity, promote learning, and support effective project delivery.

Grantees improved their understanding of organizational system strengthening, grant compliance requirements, financial management, and reporting processes. The training covered strategies for effective advocacy, stakeholder engagement, fundraising approaches, proposal writing, and building partnerships. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, group exercises, and case studies to strengthen their ability to secure support and resources for sustainable project implementation.

Grantees gained practical knowledge and skills in advocacy and resource mobilization, improved their ability to engage stakeholders, developed strategies for fundraising, and enhanced their capacity to secure resources to support the successful implementation of their projects.

The Youth Civic Education and Governance Workshop brought together young people from Onitsha South to build their knowledge and skills in civic engagement and governance. The workshop focused on understanding civic rights and responsibilities, the importance of active participation in community decision-making, and strategies for promoting accountability and transparency in local governance. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, role-plays, and group exercises to strengthen their capacity to contribute effectively to democratic processes and community development.

Participants developed a better understanding of civic responsibilities, improved their ability to engage in governance processes, and gained practical tools to advocate for accountability and participate meaningfully in their communities.

Through interactive discussions, group activities, and practical exercises, participants strengthened their knowledge and skills to effectively engage in democratic processes and community development initiatives.
