Nonso Orakwe, a dedicated graduate of Microbiology from Anambra State University, stands as a leading advocate for good governance, democracy, and inclusive politics in the region. With an impressive track record, he was appointed as the Anambra State Coordinator for the renowned #NotTooYoungToRun campaign by YIAGA Africa in February 2017. Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, he effectively mobilized and organized young citizens, urging lawmakers to pass crucial bills in the State Assembly. Moreover, his contributions extend beyond this milestone, as he has spearheaded various other impactful initiatives for YIAGA Africa in Anambra State, notably the NEC Youth Strategy Development Meeting in May 2018. Notably, he serves as a National Association of Nigeria Drug Monitoring (NANDRUM) Ambassador, actively promoting voter education and youth engagement, while advocating for peaceful and fair elections through the ‘Vote Not Fight: Election no Be War’ campaign in the South East.

Israel Orji serves as our dedicated Program Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. Having graduated with a degree in Applied Biochemistry from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Israel boasts a robust background, with over eight years of invaluable experience as a Program Officer in the Civil Society Sector. Furthermore, his commitment to societal welfare is exemplified through his active engagement in various community-driven initiatives. Notably, he volunteered for the Vote Not Fight Program during the Anambra State gubernatorial election in 2017 and continued his involvement with the project in 2021 as part of CATYCOI. Beyond his role with us, he serves as a valuable member of the board for two non-profit organizations. As the Ambassador of the National Association of Nigeria Drug Monitoring (NANDRUM), the Anambra State Secretary of the Tuberculosis Network, and the Vice Secretary of the Child Protection Network (CPN), Israel remains dedicated to driving positive change and creating a better future for his community.

Miss Ezeliora Ukamaka is an indispensable asset to our team, currently assuming the role of Accountant. Her strong educational foundation includes a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), alongside her esteemed status as a qualified Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). With a robust understanding of corporate governance, she brings a wealth of financial expertise to her role. Her commitment to community welfare is evident through her previous collaboration with CATYCOI on the Vote Not Fight (VNF) project in Anambra in 2021. With a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of financial management, Miss Ezeliora Ukamaka J is instrumental in ensuring the financial integrity and stability of our organization.
